Peter G. Shaheen is SGO’s business law specialist.
With extensive experience in commercial litigation as well as a long history of business ownership and management, Peter provides clients with a unique perspective on corporate legal issues. His business experience includes:

Peter is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and in both State and Federal Courts.
He has extensive trial experience including complex business litigation. On the transactional side, he has been involved in matters from residential real estate closings to major mergers and acquisitions.
Peter has also formerly served as Town Counsel for North Andover, Massachusetts and in that capacity was involved in all aspects of municipal law including litigation, contract negotiations, and issuing opinions to zoning and planning boards. He also acts as legal counsel for the largest private non-profit social services charity in the Merrimack Valley.

Peter is a graduate of Bates College and Suffolk University Law School.
